Before you embark on your Zuperify journey, we highly recommend taking some time to read through our What is Zuperify? page – more commonly known as the “About” page. It will give you an idea of what we’re trying to achieve here at Zuperify.
Our first three posts will be dedicated to giving you a better understanding of the three life streams we’ll cover on this website – Self, Skill, and Social.
This post focuses on the Skill life stream as we believe it’s where most of the levelling up happens.
Skill is now a verb
For most of recent human history, skill was a one-time possession – something you acquired once (either a degree, a diploma, an apprenticeship) – and then spent an entire career earning off it. Learn once, earn forever. That is changing…
Today, skill is not a noun – it has become a verb. Knowledge access and dissemination have become a lot easier and widespread. More people now have access to information, resulting in greater competition. Some might like it, some might not.
A social contract that lasted for decades is now changing – without an adequate change in the inherent tools of that contract. Many are expected to adopt AI without being provided with the tools and/or knowledge to do that. We plan to change that – or at least try.
The skills spectrum
The Skill life stream is built up of many streamlets, such as learning, career, business, etc. As we wade through these streamlets, we’ll explore many more along the way.
Learning is the root/base of Skill. You cannot learn a skill without actually ‘learn’ing (Not my best work, but oh well… It felt cheesy writing it… Please don’t grill me… Don’t be parmesan). Anyway, before you pick up any skill comes the task of deciding which skills to pick up. AI can help you with that. It can be a guide, a mentor, a tutor, a peer, or even a friend.
Career is where a vast majority of us fit in. We’ll try to (eventually) cover the major aspects of a career – from resumes to interviews, from interviews to jobs, from jobs to meetings, from meetings to promotions, and yes – from promotions to the occasional career pivot.
Last but not the least – Business. Business is for builders. We’ll explore how AI can be used to improve and streamline the major aspects of running a business. We’ll also look at different ways to leverage AI so freelancers, creators, founders, and many others can accelerate and amplify their work.
Do, learn, repeat
However, the most important thing to note is – practice beats inspiration. For every Skill post we share, try to apply it in your life. See what works, what doesn’t, what can be improved, etc.
One small AI experiment a week can compound into something unrecognizable in a matter of months.
